Averaging an incredible 17 metres of snowfall annually, the powder at Niseko Village is internationally acclaimed and is among the world's best. Siberian winds interacting with moisture from the Sea of Japan has provided snow with a quality and consistency that is among the driest and lightest in the world.
From 1 December until May, Niseko Village transforms into a ski mecca for powder hounds with exceptional off piste terrain and a wide range of groomed runs suited to all levels of skiers and boarders. For extreme skiers, the backcountry can be accessed through a series of gates near the peak of Mount Niseko Annupuri leading to phenomenal terrain and a huge series of back bowls or snowshoe up Mount Yotei for mind-blowing volcano crater skiing at the summit.
